ALVINNNNNN.lol

Could be mouse/rat in your car and other under the hood.
A field mouse can squeeze it's body into almost any crack.
=Don't leave food in your car.

Do you live in a suburban area?

reading this made me laugh but that sucks bro.

Maybe lay a mousetrap where the chips used to be with a nice hunk of tillamook cheese

strip the interior to make sure they arent in there. maybe park somewhere else or put poison or traps around where you park.

moth ***** can work, but they stink. Clean it up good to get any urine smell out.

It's getting cold and they're looking for a warm place to go. Be thankful it isn't cats... my dad used to live on a farm and learned to make lots of noise before starting a car in the winter.

The better way to keep them out would be dryer sheets, they don't like those either.

i did take apart the interior earlier today and there is no sign of them living inside the car, i am keeping it in the garage tonight but that is not always an option, i also bought some rodent repellent to spray around the car and hopefully parking in a different place deters them.

There is a reason they call it shamwow, it's like WOW you just got shammed. You can buy a bolt of that material in Germany for the same price they sell shamwow for.

I remember reading another story about a mouse in someone's car before. It was pretty funny. Put a snake in your car. DONE!

Don't poison them! They could eat the poison and then die somewhere in your car that could be difficult to get to. You probably won't know they're there until they start to smell. I've heard around the blower area is popular.

You're going to want to wire off any places they can get in. I've heard of through the firewall, but I'm not sure exactly where it might be. Make sure the wire is small enough. Mice and other rodents can usually fit through any hole big enough to get their head through.

If you put down traps you might want to put an old floor mat under it in case there's a mess. Sticky traps will probably just make a horrible mess.

Live trapping means you have to release the rodent. Mice will come back even if they're left a mile away.

Probably one of the better sites I've found about it so far, but I honestly haven't looked much into it.

http://www.hastingsreserve.org/Mammals/MiceInCars.html

As a side note, a customer came in a few days ago with his girlfriend. He walked out to do something to her car and poked his head back in to ask if anyone had a camera. I said I did. We walked out and there was a long dead rat that had gotten caught by a belt. His head was stuck. Customer removed it by the tail, but it left the head in. It was actually funny when it happened (the rat probably didn't suffer much at all) but the smell was horrible.

It is, I've had mice in 2 seperate civics now, both times they've made nests in the blower motor.

Just as an FYI to whoever mentioned cheese, peanut butter works a whole heck of a lot better.

I lol'd.

get a piccholo and play a magic tune that will cause the rodents bewilderment and hypnosis. lead them out of the car and into a trap with your eerie melody.

Usually we have to worry about another kind of "RATS" with our hondas.
You're lucky they want your chips and your warmth, instead your engine and suspension.

This actually happened to a friend of mine. He got a honda accord for free. One that had been standing around for like 5 years. He fixed it up but there was a terrible rat smell in it. He stripped the interior and there were no sign of the rats. When looking in his heater core, he found a nest of dead rats there. He replaced his heater core and the smell was gone. Definately check that out man
