i have 2000 ek coupe and i want to make my seat couple inches lower. can i cut anything just to make it happen? its a stock ek seats.

which rails can you think of? how much will it lower my seat down? will it be direct bolt-on on my stock seat

actually you know id try teg rails before spending bookoo bucks on a set of aftermarket rails
because i swapped a set of gsr seats into my EK and you can tell the height difference from the stock seats LS seats fit too if gsr isnt your thing

anything would be fine as long as they drop couple inches down its coz its hard for me to bend everytime i switch gears.

I swapped the oem seats from my 2000 couple in favor of 2000 Integra seats...better in "every" way, which also includes sitting down a couple inches lower.

Look around, you should be able to find a pair for $100

yea like everyone says integra seats are alot lower. i got the ITR seats in my Em1 and its a pretty big noticable drop in height

No you have to switch the inside rail from your seats the integra ones for them to fully bolt in. I would advise this so all 4 bolts can be used.

on my DX the passenger side inside rail wouldn't work with the integra seats really because the tilt mechanism was kind of different, so I only have 3 bolts on the passenger side, but the EX may have the better tilt things like on the Integra seats

i swapped in 94 prelude si seats into my ek and its significantly lower and extremely comfortable, its not quite as bolt and go as teg seats but requires very little modification and you wont have teg seats like everyone else.

Sweet! It is required you switch only one rail on each seat, can recall now if it was the inner or the outer, but it will be very obvious

To those who think they bolt right in...NO, that is only for EG models!

del Sol seats sit low. Very surprised no one mentioned them.

They're noticeably lower than the Integra seats. I've had a '97 Civic here with both.

the problem with del sol and s2k seats is since they come from two seater cars the reclining is very limited.

At least for the del Sol the reclining and folding forward was only slightly limited compared to the stock seats. They worked fine and I was still able to get in the back seat of the hatch. If it were a sedan it wouldn't matter if they folded forward. Plus on the S2000 I've heard of people doing seat pan swaps.

If you're tall enough to be uncomfortable in the car and you don't often have people crawling into the backseat then it won't be a problem at all. It will be a blessing. You don't usually have to worry too much about busing adults or adult sized people around in your car once you get out of high school, so dependent on the OP's age this could be a slight problem or not really a problem at all. After all, it's his car and he should be most comfortable in it since he's always driving it.
