2007 Honda Pilot + iPod Install
Asking for a friend:
Has anyone ever installed one of these modules in your '07 Pilot? He is curious how he could best go about installing the plugs into the center console so that it doesn't look like a 1/2 retarded monkey grabbed some tools and went to town. Thanks for any insight or even links.

that were you hid the unit but where did you place the hook up? I wonder how hard it is to remove the factory radio. In my area the install costs more then the unit. Not good for a simple audio install you know

The hook up is right under the stereo in this empty space, I drilled a small hole and ran the cable, the ipod now sits in there. I got the instructions from Crutchfield on how to take the stock stereo out, but I am sure you can find that info on the net.

perfect thanks. My phone sits in the cubby now. Id love to have the hook up in the bottom slider just infront of the center console. All considering on a 1-10 basis did what would you rate it. from the reads Id guess a 4 but never done one.

Rate it as far as how it works or rate the install?
How it works, I rate it a 9. It charges my ipod, I can control it from my factory stereo, and the sound is great!
How hard it was to install, I'd rate it at 2 or 3 (1 being easy). Lots of screws to take off and put back but well worth it.
