How to determine which O2 sensor is bad
The check engine light is on, I checked with a scanner and the code is listed below, it does not tell me which one of the two sensors is bad. How can I determine that, I would appreciate any help
Code: P1166 HO2S11 Heater Circuit Fault.
Engine Info:
2000 Honda Accord EX 4 Cyl
F23A4

P1166 is the air/fuel ratio sensor, which is the primary sensor.
Here is also a link with a pdf for a few test for code P1166.

I concur. It is the primary O2 sensor. The clue is in the code, HO2S1. If it were a problem in the secondary sensor, you would have read HO2S2.

Thank you guys for the quick response. My OBD reader says that it has a problem with the heater but when I turn the ignition on the sensor heats up very quick

here you go http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/do-yo...placement.html
thats everything you need, literally part numbers a place to buy, also try BKhondaparts.com, and autopartswarehouse or even googling the denso part number
all you need is one normal looking wrench, don't bother with those retarded O2 sockets, theres no room to use them on there anyways

I just cut the wires, and use a regular socket(Youre going to replace it anyway). Install use a regular wrench, or a flare socket/wrench
