Default 91 Accord engine Replacement

I am doing an engine replacement, its my 1st time doing this and want to find as much resources as possible before i go a head with removing and installing. Just about the only information i can tell you is that i will be swaping out/in a stock lx engine i believe its f22a1. Can someone please direct me to a complete outline of engine removal and installation as well as a possible cheaper engine that i could put in, its my DD so i want it to be as efficient as possible, thanks.

F22x engines are a dime a dozen so you are not going to get cheaper than that.........

There should be a reference in the FAQ section for online Honda Shop Manuals which will guide you through your project.
For simplicity's sake (and that of you wallet as well) stay with the stock engine.
If, after this project you're still smiling and haven't fallen into a life of deprivation and alcohol THEN you can entertain getting fancy

I have a 91 accord EX F22A4 engine with a H23 Intake Manifold, Bisimoto Intake Manifold gasket, Ebay headers w/ Paceheader plage welded on, new Bisimoto head gasket not installed, new felpro oil pan gasket not installed, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, new thermostat, and engine has never been over heated. Let it go very cheap with all items mentioned above. Its a USDM original Miles 315,xxx, does not smoke, or knock, still running strong. I have some pics on CB7tuner > thread: out w/ F22A4 in w/ H22A. Let me know if interested I will let the complete engine go for $300.00 includes ECU, EWH, all sensors, no motor mounts.

I say stay with the F22A since you just want it stock and as efficient as possible. Get a F22A6 which is the best F22A you'll find.

Alot of ppl said the F22A6 head flows the best out of all F22Ax motors and pulls stronger than the rest as well. So I think it'll be a good reliable motor for you and your car.
