No good, I would rip it apart and double check the head bolts for proper torque, then head gasket make sure it didn't get damaged and the surfaces are clean, then check the head and block for warpage. if that all looks good look for cracks or block/sleeve damage. I might also suggest checking to see if something caused one of the two latter problems if you have ran the engine for a bit since the rebuild. Things like havoc boost to high boost + compression etc.

yes for the compression but that wouldn't explain water in the oil. however there could be a secondary problem but I tink you will fin that they are a linked problem

Can the Water be condensation. The Motor stay assembled but 7 weeks. i had to wait for my downpipe and manifold.
cU thing the water issue have something do to with the blockguard. (eagle blockguard)
Or Dowel pins i forget to install them. i just remember.
I let the car ruining for but 2 minuets in idle rough. and the water level in the radiator did not change.

Thx Torsten

it "can" be condensation causing some milky stuff under the oil cap. but if the oil looks like a milkshake then there is a problem.

check your cam timing for compression loss......i made the mistake once on a SOHC in lining the "up" mark on the cam gear up but it was the side marks i needed to line up to the head so i was off one tooth......the engine idle fine and smooth but had no power.

Sure, but givin this is summer, and the fact the a motor should not have enough surfaces to make a change in oil color/constitency. I have had motors sit for 2 years here in the seattle weather with oil in them with oil still coming out normal color. I highly suggest you be on the safe side and figure out if nothing more severe is wrong.

make sure you put some copper seal on the head gasket you can get it at most auto parts stores

Is the oil level rising considerably? I cant see the dowl pins being the culprit ocnsidering you said it only sat and idled for 2 mins. I guess it COULD be but if the surfaces move enough to requrie the dowls I would say your going to blow the HG anyway. It would be good measure to just MAKE SURE you torqued it down right. If it checks out properly torqued then pull the head off. There isnt anyway you have a coolant line hooked up wrong and leading to oil?

i hate cometic head gaskets. i would use oem, i have use felpro from autozone with no problems. Make sure you clean your head good and block good then coat the gasket with copper spray. I dont always use copper spray but i found out if you dont have the head resurfaced it helps it seal the head.

Hey replaced the Head Gasket and check for any visible cracks in the head but looks fine.
I still have the low compression issue. the compression is 4 cylinder 96 1 cylinder 100.
Can some tell me what I'm doing wrong.
I gues the Clearance adjustment is not right.

I bet its the valve timing or lash. Check the Tbelt and make sure the valve rockers have clearance at each TDC.

no water in the oil.

This is how i adjust Valves.

set no. 1 piston on TDC Up Mark on pulley on top.
TDC grooves on pulley align with cylinder head.
distributor roter point to No. 1.
intake 0.008 Exhaust 0.010
Adjuste valve.

than Rotate crankshaft counterclockwise to up mark is side ways and the No. 3 piston on top.
Distributor points to 3.
Adjuste Valve
than rotate crankshaft counterclockwise up marks is down, grooves align with head. Distributor point to 4

The Cam lobe are sideways when i start on No. 1 Cylinder.

Oh i have a aftermarket cam stage 2.
LOBE CENTERS HAVE BEEN MOVED TO 110 ON THE INTAKE AND 104 ON THE EXHAUST.
Is this make any different.

thx torsten

i think you did it wrong did you rotate the crank 180deg or rotated it 90 deg

When you say up mark do you mean the crank or cam pulley

Step 1...Remove Valve Cover.Remove Upper Timing Belt Cover.Rotate Crankshaft counterclockwise until No. 1 piston is at TDC of the compression stroke.Up mark on camshaft pulley should be on top,TDC marks should align with cylinder head upper surface or TDC groove should align with pointer on back cover..see pic below

Step 2..Loosen adjusting screw lock nut on cylinder No. 1.Adjust valve clearance to spec on all valves for No. 1 cylinder.Turn Adjustment screw until a feeler guage slides back and forth with a slight drag.Tighten lock nut to spec and recheck valve adjustment..Cylinder No.1 is done

Step 3 Rotate crankshaft counterclockwise 180 degrees(camshaft pulley rotates 90 degrees) Up mark on camshaft pulley should be on the exhaust side.Adjust all valves for Cylinder No.3

Step 4 Rotate crankshaft counterclockwise 180 degrees(camshaft pulley rotates 90 degrees) Up mark on camshaft pulley should be down(both TDC grooves will be visible again).Adjust all valves for Cylinder No.4

Step 5 Rotate crankshaft counterclockwisw 180 degrees(camshaft pulley rotates 90 degrees) Up mark on camshaft pulley should be on the intake side.Adjust all valves for Cylinder No.2

Step 6 ..Ensure crankshaft pulley bolt is tightened to spec

i mean cam cam pulley.
I did it the same way like u say. have a copy from the repair Manuel.
But its still not right.
No.1 piston 100psi No.2 piston 95psi No.3 Piston 130Psi No.4 85 psi.
I don't know what i am doing wrong.
u thing the can be something wrong with the camshaft. A friend gived at to me he hate the camshaft in his d16 before he blow the engine and switched to a h22.
well i don't give up.

Thx for us help guys.
