car kind of feels like it's jerking on highway driving
ok got a b16a3 with itr cams, dc header, aem cai just tuned on crome with a p28 ecu. when i drive on the freeway sometimes i feel like the car is jerking a little. it's not a lot at all but it's enough to just notice it. with my stock ecu everything runs fine and smooth. after the tune is when it now sometimes feels a lil wierd (hard to explain) but all i know is that it feels kind of like a "jerk" on the car when accelerating at a steady speed. i will check my spark plugs soon to see if they are fouled out since it seems like the car is running a lil rich after the tune.

Tire may need air/too much air. Alignment. Wheel balanced. Camber. I dont think the motor or tune has to do with anything with your car jerking. But i could be wrong lol

i *think* he means the engine is not pulling smoothly, not that the car jerking from one side to another (such as needing an alignment.) then again, i could be wrong.

Im taking it as suspension issue. SHake your front end down.. If you know what I mean. You could need a wheel bearing.. inner and or outer tir rod. It could be a bumber of things. But im not taking it as a motor issue.

Hmmm after i reread your post..Now it sounds Like the Car is hesitant. Buckin so to speak. What gas is your car tuned on an what gas do you have in car? Bad gas mixure?

always using 91 octane gas and im pretty sure it was tuned on that since cali dont have anything higher.

I'm also having this problem, it seems like the engine is jerking a tiny bit just enough to notice. How would I go about testing the TPS?

so you're saying it's the engine not pulling smoothly and not a suspension or alignment issue? there still seems to be some confusion.
i had a problem with my tps on my gsr swap a couple times and i didn't even need to replace it, it just needed to be cleaned.
