Icon2 97 accord wont turn over?

Alright i have a 97 accord in my driveway thats been there for two years, "dead" finally got everything back in the stupid thing and tried starting it but the motor does not want to turn over at all. did plenty of research, tried what i could think of but no luck. tested the starter at schucks and it passed and tried to push start it but no luck. could the starter wire be fried? help me out guys i hate this thing ( its not even my car either) LOL

Is there any corrosion on any of the wires? Any cuts in the insulation? Does the motor turn over using a ratchet?

does it click when you turn the key? checked your grounds?

i had a similar problem with my other accord, turns out the ground on the intake manifold near the fuel lines wasnt grounded. check that

am i right to assume the gas has been sitting in the tank and lines for two years...? if so, try draining the gas and refilling with fresh gas.

*oh, i'm sorry.. you're saying it won't spin at all, not that it'll spin but won't start..

you said you tried to push start... that not working points to something other than just electrical i think. i still think checking/replacing the gas is a good idea. you have a good battery in it?

are the belts moving at all? if not, its starter related, if your wire test came out good its only down to 1 thing.

If motor cranks but doesn't starts up and run then its either no spark, gas, or good compression. But if, motor does not crank at all where its silent dead when turning the key over to start, then its something else like mentioned above.

Yeah, double check your tranny ground and starter wire. Mine comes loose every once and awhile then I would start it up and nothing happens. No crank or nothing.

Can you toss a breaker bar with a pipe on it, and get it to spin?

Take out your spark plugs, and get a socket with big *** cheater bar on the crank and see if it's seized.
