Default Radiator fan not working while driving

The radiator fan in my 94 accord seems not working during drive. I have to make frequent stops to cool down the engine. I am puzzled that everytime when I turn off the engine, the radiator fans starts to work. How can I fix that? Thanks a lot!

my 96 accord ex with f22b1 vtec does not seem to run the fan either, but it does not run above half way on the temp reeding. so ill watch what help you get & maybe ill learn something myself

check the fan switch and/or thermostat

the fan will not run when the car reaches between 38-42mph below those speeds it should run as needed

check your fan for a quick check may be it's sticking, turn the a/c switch on and check if both fan comes on, also turn it with your hands to see if it's free wheeling good not sticking, and i will check your cooling temp. sensor for the fan and or relay might be sticking. good luck.

I have a 1992 accord, my fans both come on with the a/c, and both even work sometimes when the a/c is off. Neither fan works when I turn the car off. Is that a sensor? If so, where is it located?? tks

Fan coming on after you turn off vehicle is normal for alots vehicle, the cooling temp. sensor is located near the thermostate should have two wires connector, but, I think I will check the thermostate maybe is bad (sometime sticking) change it, it's only couple bucks.

Check the relay that is in the engine compartment fuse box. It is either number 20 or 21 in the diagram here:
