Godspeed Turbos?? Good Or Bad?
So I came across these turbos and realized they were pretty cheap. Im looking at purchasing a GT35R but with the price of these Im assuming theyre just another ebay knockoff? Anyone ever try em?

So as far as quality though there about the same? Or better than the actual ebay turbos I guess? Classifieds as in the for sale section?

Wow, they even copied the real look of the compressor cover. These seem like fairly high quality knockoffs but if you want a genuine turbo stay far away from Godspeed.

i think if your looking for a good quality turbo for cheap look into holset turbos on ebay. i like mine and so do alot of others on h-t. they spool quick they come stock on cummins so you know the quality is great. you can pick them up very cheap on ebay under 350$ there is a great long thread on h-t about them and there specs.

Re: Godspeed Turbos?? Good Or Bad?
I've had a couple of race cars that I've tuned running these turbos and they took a **** right after each roadracing event. It's pretty dissapointing because they consistently fail. The moment you throw a new one in, it take a sh*t after one track day.
On a street car, perhaps you may never reach to the extremes of racing; but I'd hate to drive a car with a turbo that can pretty much fail the moment you decide to push the car hard.
Ebay/Godspeed turbos gets a nay from me.

Re: Godspeed Turbos?? Good Or Bad?
what? the Honda scene is dominated by single cams with loud exhausts.. id rather have some Honda with an eBay turbo who run 12's all day than most ricer buckets. just buy the $200-$300 turbo it'll make good power, than save up $600 for a quality one

Re: Godspeed Turbos?? Good Or Bad?
so youre saying spend 800 dollars in the long run?
So buy a shitty ebay turbo, then buy your run of the mill 50 trim when I couldve bought a precision billet series if i had the patience?
the things you guys have to understand is, theres a reason why these other turbos cost what they do. being impatient will only result in you spending more money on mistakes that couldve been avoided had you not pulled the trigger on a 200 dollar ebay piece of ****.

Re: Godspeed Turbos?? Good Or Bad?
lol ever seen an eBay turbo? I seen one running 250+ to the wheels for months, mind you it was a street car and not pulling hard everytime he was on the road.
don't doubt the eBay turbo.
