Need instructions for removing headliner

Re: Need instructions for removing headliner
Haha I dont envy you. In no particular order....Take seats out, remove all trim paneling on all pillars A, B and C. The fronts I think have the clips under the SRS emblem and you need to hit with a rubber mallet(wrapped in a towel) to break them and then obvs replace them. Then map light and sun visors and your ready to remove.
Careful not to bend it when going out and back in, helps to have a second pair of hands. I think they put them in through windsheild at factory so maybe you better smash out your windsheild to make it easier and a lot more fun.

Holy crap!!
This is a VP so there's no maplight/console up front. I wanted to put some switches up into the 'bump' that they put there... maybe I can just
remove some clips from up front and just tug down on the front part to get access to the inside of that 'bump'??

On second thought don't ruin your headliner. What are the switches for?

Radar detector
Do I really need to take the a-pillar trim off? I was messing around in that area yesterday and it didn't look like I'd have to touch the a-pillars.
To make the switches look nice and all, the headliner should come out, but if it's as annoying as you say, maybe I can work with it in place...

I couldn't tell you if you could do it with out pulling the a-pillar trim. I dont know how far back into the headliner you are going. Whatever you do just be careful not to **** the headliner up by pulling the **** out of it.
I still rec. not putting holes in your headliner.

Re: Need instructions for removing headliner
This is what I did to get the wiring for my radar under the headliner. My radar sits to the left of my mirror . I pulled the pillar off partially, ran the wire up , then pulled down on the headliner where it meets the windshield. No need to take it all off. You should be fine.
