Default Fuel system cleaner

Saw this at H and A, BG 44K Fuel System Cleaner.
Thought it'd be pretty cool and useful.
Has anyone used this product before??
When's a good time to use it, when isn't it?
Also heard it's pretty much like 'sea foam' so you can't use it more than once for like the cars lifetime, is this true? answers and advice please, thanks!

if this helps, my car is 9 years old, with 70k miles.

Wouldn't hurt. The injectors aren't the only thing in a fuel system. Its a maintenance thing that can only do good. Personally have never used it in my car but have done it to several cars at previous jobs and always clears out quite a bit of carbon build up.

**** that "cleans fuel injectors" is bullshit.

Injectors are self cleaning, they dont get "clogged" anymore.

I've heard some controversial information about seafoam though...the **** will eat your valve stems if you use too much of it and/or dont change your oil immediately after you run it.

...which is why people recommend changing the oil within a couple hundred miles of putting the seafoam in.

Lucas is some good ****.

Damn dude, last time I put Chevron in my car it gave me detonation like a bitch. My basemap requires 91+ octane and I pumped 93 octane Chevron. The next tank of gas (BP) I noticed less detonation, and then after the next tank of BP after that, it was gone.

Given a choice, I will never use Chevron again.

Wow, Fuel injectors are NOT self cleaning, have u ever took out a fuel injector? they have a little filter that filters **** that the main fuel filter does not capture. over time those filters get clogged and will cause slight miss fires. fuel injector cleaner will eat that stuff up and fix it.

Lucas fuel injector cleaner seems like oil to me it sux.

Preston Fuel Injector cleaner ALWAYS will stop my car from shaking if i go more than 5000 miles without it and i put it in and within 200 miles it idles perfect !

Those are the only 2 injector cleaning stuff I've ever used. Lucas is a good top Cyl lubrication product but not so good on cleaning injectors. not from my experiences which have been used several times and im never satisfied till prestone come in.

I'm enjoying it, I know thats for sure. ya know what they say..work a job you love, and you never work a day in your life..thats what I lookin forward to once I graduate.
