i think you have to re-pin the wire harness to match your ecu ... your harness is not wired up for vtec

You will need to get a ECU pin out for each ECU and compare them to make sure they are the same. If they are the same you might have got a bad new ECU.

i did the f22b1 swap in my CB. using stock ecu for now, car also boggs (redlines) at 5k, vtec for these motors engages at 2800rpm.

check your vtec solenoid and the mesh behind it, maybe its clogged. just an idea.

I'm talking about all the other wires, not just VTEC. 90-93 chassis with 90-93 harness and a F22B1 engine swap, and POA ECU 94/95 EX MT, for that swap you have to swap A6 & A11 ( EGR , O2 heater ciruit ) for it to work.

I dont know about yours specifically since you have an OBD2 car. It sounds like some wires are not correct, especially if it pops the same code on a known good ECU. Did his car run fine after it was used in your car?

I have a 93 wagon dx chassis that was swapped once before and i put a vtec f22b1 in it and now I am having same issue im sorry to brig up an old thread but i have been looking all over for some info and not been to successfull i am having a similar issue i have 2 cel codes, code 13 and code 22 i know the code 22 is a vtec code so I bypassed the pressure switch by bridging d6 and a4 on the ecu as I found info to do, but still when I get to about 4k rpm power starts to fall off and at 5k I fall on my face I'm doing more research on the code 13 wich is supposed to be a barro/ atmospheric pressure sensor but any adviceor help is appreciated been 6 months on a 2 day swap 😅
