1.5 VTEC tuning
Hi, i am new to the honda scene, so please try to understand if i ask some "stupid" questions!
First off, i am from the UK, and have an EK (97) Civic Ls (1.5 Vtec, 114bhp)
Now, i understand that this is not as desirable as the B16 line of engines, but was wondering if there was anything i could do to make it a bit nippier, and to especially feel the transition onto VTEC stronger, as there is no KICK there at the moment.
I think the engine code i have is D15? Is it possible to fit a performance cam designed for say, a D16 engine?
Any help is really appreciated!

a lot?
when you have a single slam like the d15b there is NOT much you can do and stay NA.
for the money you would spend on intake, header, exhaust is not worth it. your butt dyno might feel it, but you would not be getting **** for power after the money you spent. Forced induction is your best bet. maybe somthing cheap like a dry n2o kit, or spend a little more and get a turbo. intake, header, exhaust on a d15b is just about pointless.

um there is a LOT you can do actually. almost everything you can do to a dual cam. the power might not be there but the parts are.
But i agree that FI is where the real power lies.

sure you can do all that, but why? you will not get any power. sorry but putting money into an NA Dseries is just dumb. unless you spend an assload and get some serious compression and a few thousand dollars later you will will be able to bark secound gear.
FI is the only way, imo
