Default s2000 ap1-ap2 conversion

i have a 00 s2k and i was wondering what do i need to convert the front end to an ap2?

Headlights with ballasts and igniters, front bumper, and grill. You can use the AP1 ballasts and igniters with some work.

and the bumper support if you don't want to cut away at the AP1 bumper support.

yep, i got one of these roto-zip multi-attachment angle grinder thingies just for that purpose. 1 year warranty on it and ill be damned not to use it for every job i can haha, too bad in the demo it was only cutting 1/16th inch copper and nothing heavy duty like a bumper support.

You have to unplug the VTEC solenoid to make it authentic as AP2s do not come with VTEC. You also have to remove the power steering pump to fit the AP2's bumper.

power steering's for newbies. i got a manual rack conversion done and couldn't be happier.

dont forget about removing the turn signal stalk on the steering column

you're also going to have to replace the driver with a cooler, better version for a true conversion...

thanks for all the infos guys...this seems like alot of work so i'll probably just stick with the ap1 conversion.

really now? LOL... all u do is grind off the corners and throw the bumper on.. its a lot of typing but when ur actually doing it, its like 1hour if you're a ***** and afraid of the grinder.. 10 minutes if you're chucknorris or 15 minutes if you're me
