ya There's Honda smell, Toyota smell, Ferrari smell....just like Lemon smell. Come on do I really have to do this..hahaha

That was some interesting information...but I'm just really curious...because the place I got the part from was from Park Honda back east even though it was an ebay sale. So at least I know its truly Honda...but it just shocked me. I'm always used to see Made in Japan for japanese parts, not China. I hope they keep the same stringent QC on these parts like Japan does.

Ill admit im kind of surprised at that. I thought the Japanese carmakers were super strict about their parts.

Would you believe that many hondas are built in Canada or is that to hard to understand too? Why wouldn't they do like everyone else and send it to the lowest bidder.

WOW! really??? Honda is made over in Canada....Whoaaa! I wonder if they make them in Europe and Asia, too. Oh I bet they even make then USA!!

Okay, lets not take this over board. I'm very well aware of car mfging being done in different countries. Its just the irony of seeing my trusted parts being made in China, China is known for poor quality and the huge quantity of stuff they spit out. Times change I just wanted to point it out.

It's a valve cover gasket...doesn't take much "know how" to run a factory for making those

Honda, like any other company, outsources everything. BUT, it must meet Hondas specs(where most companies don't really care).
