Air conditioning makes my car stall!!! WTF!
So I recently re-charged my A/C and it was feeling really nice. I go to drive my cra and I basically have to put the throttle to the floor to get going without stalling out. Is it because i over charged it or what could it be?
Any ideas ?

Ask austinkli. He is my friend, and I remember riding with him, his car used to do that. It doesn't anymore though. He may know how to fix it.

When you're at idle, and then you switch on the AC, do the RPMs drop? They shouldn't drop at all. They should actually go UP by a tiny bit. The IACV is supposed to compensate for the extra load by letting in more air. If I were to disconnect my IACV, then turn on the AC, the rpms drop pretty bad.
Of course your problem could be caused by many many other things.

Um... Your an idiot, your on my computer, and you couldn't just tell me to go to this thread? You actually emailed it to me from 20 feet away?
OP, you pretty much summed it up. It's a shitty d15b7. and with the ac it runs shittier. What i did, was slightly upped the idle, then i took a very small fine threaded screw, and screwed it in by the throttle just a little to increase the throttle. Just a little little bit man. when you get to a light, you may want to just slightly give it some gas. hold the pedal down just a little. Then when you leave the light, you won't have to slam the pedal down while it chokes itself trying to build enough power. And do a tune up, get yourself some new spark plugs, clean all your grounds, maybe a new dizzy cap and rotor button, or at least clean what you already have on there, and then go ahead and make sure your spark plug wires are good.

That's not too say mine runs great with the AC on. Sandy P just doesn't realize I slightly hold my foot on the gas. I'm going to check out my IACV later. Glad you made this thread.
