how to install 12" Universal Radiator Fan
i have a crx with a eg radiator i just bough a 12" Universal Radiator Fan is there a thread with is or no. but if somebody can help me do this. my question is what can i use to tight the fan to the radiator i dont want to use tight straps cause they are plastic and the're gonna melt. i dont want to bolt it up so any other way of doing it will be appreciated

lets see, not bolts, and not zip ties.. looks like you will be using glue then...

It is a relatively high temp aftermarket fan mount kit from summit racing for $9..

goto autozone or advance auto and just tell them you need a package of zip ties that hold a fan onto the radiator. They come in a 4 pack, you slide them through the fan holes and throught the radiator, then on the other side you put a stopper that holds it in place.

My Porsche 944 has 'OEM' Zip ties that hold a hot radiator hose. 944 engine bays get notoriously hot, and they are 20 years old, original, and fine. Try it.

x2, i told them i needed a mounting kit for attaching a slim fan to a performance radiator.. it looks exactly like the one from summitracing.com and for about 6 bucks. DO IT
