Tanabe Super Precedo Down Springs???
has anyone ever rode in a car equipped with these springs let alone owned a set for their accord? just curious because found a pretty good deal and they've discontinued this style so just hopping on a good deal? any comments or reviews would be appreciated.

they are made by the japanese company tanabe...the exhausts you may be familiar with as well as the full coilover "sustec-pro systems". supposedly they lower the car anywhere from 1.8-2.0 inches. have a firm ride and what not. here's a link to the springs that replaced them. i think both are similar but hey, who knows...they've been discontinued for some odd months now.

well first of all they look like progressive rate springs, which hinders any "race" or performance aspect, second they don't clearly give a spring rate and focus on the lowering aspect of the spring
true "race" or performace springs are generally used in a coilover setup that allows for suspension tuning with corner weighting and damper adjustment and clearly defines spring rate, height width and coil size
those springs are for a show car

I'll say stick to H&R and eibach..their price is not bad at all.
save up for two sets of shocks and you'll be a happy man.
how much was the tanable springs?

Re: Tanabe Super Precedo Down Springs??? (iam7head)
actually i'm running kyb agx with the rs*r down springs . its a really good ride. i recommend it. just wanted a lower look and i don't feel like going back to my skunk2s but wanted to try something new...i think they were going for like $100-130.
i'd hate to get rid of my 15 in. JDM ITR Rims but it would be more economical to just swap springs instead of getting a whole new set of rims.
