Official H2B Hood Pics Thread QSD Kit
If you are running a QSD H2B kit in your EG, DC, EK, or EF please post pics of your car with the hood closed to show high you had to space it. Also please post pics with the hood open or atleast state things like intake Manifold type or Fire wall map or throttle body map. If your hood closes more than normal please state what tricks were done to make it close better.
I know that guy with the black DC with the JDM itr front was QSD and closed all the way due to the carbon fiber hood plus the Euro R Mani

EF. Stock VC, no spacers and no TB MAP. Stock Manifold. I'm currently working on a re-worked VC with an SiR style hood.

Nicely done cause EF's need way too much clearance, anyone else.

Re: Official H2B Hood Pics Thread QSD Kit (skunked)
Skunk2 IM
MAP Sensor on TB
OEM PCV
ZC Carbon fiber hood spaced 1 3/4"
Avid Mounts no trimming of underside of hood
Innovative Mounts some trimming was required to keep same hood spacing
If i really cared, even a little, im sure i could find ways to lower the hood.

Re: SIXTY
What do you think would give a 88-91 owner more clearance; a zc or a sir style hood???
I'm thinking a sir... though the zc looks like it may help with the cam gear clearance.....
Anybody have some CHEAP, stock hood hinges for a CRX???????

Even with my SiR CF hood and modified VC, I still have to run shims because of the cam gears. I completely cut off the ca gear cover from the VC.
How about an SiR style hood with a ZC bump?

1.5" spacers, uncut VIS CF hood. Like mentioned above...... with a little more work on trimming the hood (and if it mattered ) i'm sure i would be able to get the hood to close a little more.
btw.... did you get my email?

Re: (HeikDiesel)
yea but the ground clearance is bad.....i heard the qsd kit even tho it props the motor upwards more its a better kit because it sits better in the bay as if it was meant to be there, like at a better level....this is wat i heard im not sure
