Any thoughts on the Shopline Brand of paint?
I just bought paint for my DC2 and I decided to go with championship white. This time I went with PPG's new line called Shopline. Does anybody have experience with this brand? I bought the sealer, base-coat, clear, reducer, & hardener all in the Shopline brand. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Shopline is the budget PPG line offered by PPG "Platinum" distributors. Its not the best, some of it is relabeled from the OMNI line, but it should work fine. I've used the Shopline clear/base in the past with great results. I prefer to use the BASF RM Diamont line, but there is a price difference of course. How much did you pay for the clear?

Wow thats cheaper than Hawaii prices.
paying average $65-85 per gallon. Like the previous post said, most of it is rebadged OMNI.

The shopline has 2 basecoat paints. 1 is JB and 2nd JBP. The JB is similar to the old omni system the paint match on metallics is good and covers about the same. And JBP is an updated resin base with new stronger toners that cover better, match more oem colors better. The JC620 is an acrylic urethane 4 to1 clear that is good for high production. JC630 is a little better than the JC620 IMO (its a polyurethane), It flows out better. But as long as you take your time painting and take care of your paintjob it should last you a while.
