any way to tell if a headlight is OEM or not?
Just picked up a used "OEM" headlight and Im questioning if its actually OEM or not. The markings on it arent the same as the markings on my other headlights but the headlights that were on my car might not have been OEM either because the car was wrecked before I bought it. So Im not sure if either set I have is OEM. The first obvious difference I can see between the two sets I have is the newest set doesnt have metal clips that hold on the clear housing like my original set does. aside from that the inner reflector housings and markings on the entire headlight are different.

Low beam has 3 clear paralell bars in it and says HONDA on the bottom of the lens.
High beam has an E and a 13 with a circle around it and has bunch of letters and numbers across the bottom as well. One of the lines of letters has an arrow pointing to the low beam side.

Ryan... to my knowledge:
94-97 all say Koito on them
98+ all say Stanley and Honda on the bottom of them.
If they don't have any of those markings on the bottom there is a good chance they are aftermarket.

I DID. In the snow.
I was going to take a cell phone pic but the snow flakes kept blocking my shot.

no honda, no stanley on the used "OEM" I received today...its supposed to be from a 2000 ITR.
lots of HB3 (highbeam) and HB4 (low beam), KS-HD386...has the 3 lines on the low beam...
the most legit looking letters say SAE HR 96 DOT
blah.
thanks all, and Shawn thanks for the effort lol
