Default Changing Hepa Filter

Our 06 Accord has reached slightly over 29,200 miles probably be 29,300 by the time it gets to the dealership. Anyway I decided to go ahead and call about having the 30k mile service done. When I asked what it included I was told an oil change, tire rotation, brake fluid change, transmission fluid change, air filter change, hepa filter change, and a checkover. When they finished telling me that they told me it was $380. I decided to ask how much just getting the transmission fluid and brake fluid changed would be and they told me $150. I told them to make an appointment for that.

I have Royal Purple oil in it I've been running in it and changing every 3k miles, I have checked the air filter but it wasn't bad at all I might replace it anyway though, and I have been doing tire rotations myself now. It doesn't need an oil change nor does it need the tire rotation. The only thing I haven't checked is the hepa filter. Anyone know where it is and how to check it? Is it an expensive item? Can I find one at Advance or somewhere or should I get one from the dealer?

I thought about doing the transmission fluid myself and the brake fluid but I hate doing the brake fluid and I have never done transmission fluid on a manual vehicle where you have a fill plug. It can't be that hard but I decided I'd pay the $150 atleast until it was out of warranty.

Isn't the hepa filter just a fancy term for cabin air filter.

Anyone know? I didn't see how in the manual. Where is this thing located? What does it look like?

Here's a link for ya. Easy as pie. You can get one from anywhere that has them. They are not made by Honda anyway. Have fun http://www.micronair.us/assets/pdfs/85.pdf

Just make sure you put it in with the flow arrows in the right direction, and make sure the tray snaps in all the way.
