i've seemed to answer one of my questions.. a list of different recalls for my car 96 Honda Accord LX... I figure this may help some of you guys.

The question is will they honor it even if the car hasn't had trouble.. New parts are always a good thing yadadamean?

Just call or stop by the dealer and tell them your VIN, they can pull up any open recalls on your vehicle. Carfax will also tell you about any recalls.

yup or call the dealer/ stop by and they will do it for free. all recalls have to be done for free.. so don't bother spending any money on carfax

Just call the dealer with your VIN handy (it'll be on your insurance card). If there are any open recalls the dealer will certainly tell you because they want you to take it to their shop for the work. There would be no cost to you, the car owner - they will bill Honda corporate.

The Carfax route is good if you already have an account, I wouldn't pay the $20 or $30 just to see if there are any recalls.

so i called honda and they said that a honda recall was already done for my car for the harness. So i guess im good then. Hold time was ridiculous but at least its all good. Recommend you fellow Accordians call your dealer and find out.
