the Z6/Z1 distributor would be your best bet. (OBD1 SOHC VTEC)

Agreed.

I would just run a Z6, much easier to find.

Hmm..not that I know of.

Air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, tire pressure, etc are what have effects on gas mileage.

CEL13 is the PA sensor (or atmospheric pressure sensor). has ZERO to do with the distributor.
which ECU are you using?
Most ECUs in the US have the sensor inside the ECU but they can be damaged when chipping the ECU and they have also been known to go bad on very rare occasions.
If you have a JDM ECU then it doesn't have one and shouldn't throw the CEL unless something is wrong.
UNLESS...the ECU is chipped. JDM ECUs will throw the CEL (due to no ahrdware in the ECU) then disable the PA/boro sensor and you'll be fine.

BTW, CEL13 will cause the car to get super crap MPG, you'll be in limp home mode.

no problem brotha. always glad to help another honda homie out. sounds like that CEL13 is your new problem. which probably explains why your getting that horrible gas mileage. which ecu are you using? the stock jdm d15b ecu?

that stock ecu for the jdm d15b is a P08 correct? I would start off with getting it to run with that stock ecu. my bet is....... that timing is still waay off.

run the stock ecu, check and set timing. then report back. i bet it'll be running like a champ.

you dont have an aftermarket cam gear right?
if not then just set the timing. making sure that both of the lines on the pully and timing cover line up.
did you fix that fuel leak? cause that is def also part of the problem.

You searched. Great. You bumped an OLD thread. Bad. "doesn't want to run right" doesn't tell anyone anything. More information? That would be great.

Start your own thread, roadrial. And give a lot more details when you do.
