Default Engine flooded with gasoline.... Why???

I did an engine swap on my 95 EG CX, jdm b16a sir2... When I turn the ignition ON all 4 injectors start pumping gas into the engine and the engine gets flooded... I try changing the MAP sensor but still... I have no idea where to start checking... Any ideas guys???

The ECU grounds the injector circuits to pulse them. Maybe you shorted them to ground or have them on the wrong pins on the ECU?

check all wiring from the P2 injector plug to the ecu. The computer controls injector pluse width on the ground side to the ecu. The reason this is done is because of voltage spikes and also if there was ever a short to ground before the injector the injector would be inoperative and throw a code. Unfortunely it sounds like you have a short to ground on the controlled side. I would check your ground side of the injector plug first.

I realize this is an old post. But it never had a resolution. So for those of you searching...this problem (for me at least) was caused by a fried ecu. I switched out the ecu and it fixed the problem. I am, however, still dealing with the effects of a flooded engine.
