Default '92 AT Accord, vibration only in reverse, this has got me stumped.

I've got a buddy with a '92 Accord, automatic, and there's a very noticable vibration, only when the car's in reverse and warmed up, when it's cold and at a high idle, the vibration's gone.

So far, I've gone through and checked the following, all motor mounts, all sensors, resistance readings are within specs. replaced the rear motor mount as it wouldn't hold a vacuum. cleaned the throttle body, checked for vacuum leaks, checked to see if the EGR was stuck, or dirty. Reset ECU numerous times (no codes). Also messed with the idle, giving it a high idle will help, but it's gotta be above 1k. So really, so far, nothing has helped.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the front subframe 'dogbone' motor mount. The top bolt allows adjustment.
Try starting the car and leave it in park, then loosen and retighten that top bolt.
If that doesn't make it shift it's position, try putting it in drive and have someone hold the brake and repeat loosening and tightening.
It's way better to have the vibration in reverse than to have it in drive. LOL

I have a 90' accord AT with that same problemoo , i dont think its a problem tho , basically when i turn on my car it goes to about 1500 RPM then it like auto accel's to likee 1700-1800 RPM and stays there for a while then slowly climbs down to 1500 RPM.. then when i put it in R the RPM drops ( which makes it hum..( think logically here ) and then obviously im off.. and then theres that sweet NEEAARRR noise when i back up thats the sweetest part of the car in my opionon lol!

Edit: The car does this when its cold and high idle.. not so much whe nits warmed up because the accord is desigend 2 have a high idle during warm up so it goes up n down by itself to warm the engine faster, most people dont relize that and they put their RPM's down so it'll take longer to warm up, anyways, when my car is hot like a quarter warm, it still vibrates a bit but not as much because the RPM's drop whne you put it in R.. if u havent noticed.
