Default B2D adapter plate?

Does anyone know of a B2D adapter plate out there yet? Bisimoto says there is one "coming soon," but for $600 i hardly see how it's worth the money. Has there ever been one made yet?

I would like to hear why people would be interested in a b2d, other than cheap transmissions. I understand why guys get all hot and bothered about H2B, but as far as i can tell, all the D series trannys are geared longer than B's.

Is this b-motor to d-trans, or other way around? Seeing as how performance parts (gears, lsd, etc) are the same for both series trannies, I don't see any reason to be running a d-series trans if you don't have to. Only reason would be if you had a built sohc trans and wanted to sell out half-way go with a b-series motor.

dude, 600? I really doubt that, It wouldnt be worth all the r&d to develop such a product and have no one buy it. I wonder if a stock flywheel and clutch will work when, and If this kit comes out. If the kit was like 250-300, I would be all over it. I have so many si and dx trannys I could have a nice gear box built.

I called them and FINALLY reached Bisi. He was very nice and told me that it has a tentative release date of mid to late march. The downside is that it will be estimated to be no less than $600 and may include a driver's side mount. But he said that if it needs a second mount the price will probably go up. That's a little steep for me. I could buy an LS tranny (if I end up putting it in an EF) and Hasport mounts for that kind of price.

IMO it would be worth it because you keep the stock mounts IIRC. you don't have to buy axles shift linkage or tranny and d series Trans can take more abuse than b series Trans due to having and I quote "shorter stubby gears"
