Guys I need some detailed info on how to remove the rear engine mount. I searched and everyone is vague. Do I have to remove my intake Manifold? Power steering rack?
Ultimately im trying to remove the engine. got everything else off except the mounts and intake mani.

good luck. its a bitch to take it out.......took 3 guys to take my rear mount out and replace it with innovative. one guy jacking the motor up another guy watching from the top removing the bolt and another guy under the car trying to pull the mount out.
oh and it was our first time.

removing the intake maifold is the easiest way to go about it, then the mounting bracket for the motor mount, then the mount itself
here's a good write up on it: http://www.team-integra.net/fo...age=2

Put your car on jack stands, come from under the car and hit with an impact gun. Make sure that you have a jack at the tranny ever so slightly pushing up on it and make sure that the crane is well attached to the engine...

took off tranny mount and left torque mount, loosend rear moutn bracket as well, jack stands on car and jack under motor, slowly raised/dropped til had enuff room (play) to wiggle out the rear mount. the hardest part is putting the bolts back in tight. you need alot of tools.

Re: (96teggiehatch)
Thanks Guys. Completed all Maint. T Belt, Clutch, Tranny Fluid, Axles, front torque mounts, polyurethane engine mount inserts, All belts and hoses, Valve cover gasket, and Cam plug. Runs like brand new!
Side note: The Urethane inserts really firm up the engine, almost too much for my comfort level. I might be taking the two front ones out and just keeping the rear one in.
