Yeah, I know for a fact that Phantom Grip makes an LSD for our cars.
I believe its a worthwhile if you plan on doing a little auto-x/road racing.
I dont know of anyone else off the top of my head though.
EDIT: Ive done a little research, and the Phantom Grip is just a kit that changes the OEM diff to LSD.
Quaife doesnt make a replacement for our car.

Re: (wicivic)
Well, not really.
This is what I surmise a LSD does.
It slips in the corners, allowing the cars wheels to spin at different speeds "indepent" of one another.
In straight aways it acts like a locker rear end you would find on many RWD drag cars, locking up, providing full torque to both wheels equally.
Someone correct me if im wrong.

Welding would kill your cornering, because that's a permanent lock. LSD's provide a stronger connection than open differentials, but not so strong as to permanently lock the axles, like welding does.

Since the construction of a Posi-Trac is relatively identical to an LSD, this comment is unnecessary. Both use clutch packs, and they both have the same overall desired effect. Oh, and a "Posi-Trac" is an LSD with an alternate name from GMC.

I dont care what everybody else says about you Matt, youre alright.
Posi-Trac is a GM name. In the import world its a Limited Slip. same principal, different "brand"

Well, see, on a domestic RWD, car, a posi trac does just that. As well as a limited slip does that on a domestic.
Its just a name. But on our FWD, you technically can get "positrac", Its always called LSD. Same thing, different name.

What you're thinking of, is a Locked Differential. There's a few companies out there making them, but they're mainly for a couple applications, Rock Crawling and Mud Bogging.

Just got to ask first, before stating things as though they're facts, and you'll be fine.
