03 GTI 1.8 Turbo vs 02 rsx-s with k20z1
ok here is the thing all i have on my car is a short ram intake a dc sports headers my frind has a gti with an apr chip cai boost controller nj75 race valve upgrader diveter valve and exhaust.. what will it take to keep up with him or BEAT him?? because everytime we messaround he beats me ... thank you for the input
By the way i also need a new clutch how much would it run to install an new clutch on my rsx-s???

Forced induction or a hefty budget to build up NA HP. Uprgading the clutch will cost you about 250 to 1000+ depending on what you want, but that doesn't include labor.

the 05-06 transmission's gearing helps alot. Do you have that with the z1 or the transmission that came with the 02 ?

do u think a reflash , cai , exhaust ,clutch, img, would do some damage?????

i would say that if you are going get a new clutch get a lighter flywheel as well. there are a couple mk4 gtis around here that are f'n fast and without a prayer NA you wont come close.

TODA says thta with there stroker kit you can make over 260+hp and 194+tq. That is about the only way to beat him NA. I'm thinking with the chip he has it gave that motor some *****.
