Repost- While driving my Temperature gauge goes down then back up, help
As the topic says, when I'm driving the temp guage(stock) goes down then back. Also, the car seems to be running a little hot(through the fire wall). Anyone have any ideas on whats wrong? Thanks

1) Yes, I am running the stock thermostat.
2) I will check the radiator cap.
3) I just got done putting the head back on, and maybe air could have got in the radiator. How do I get the air out?
Thanks

With air in the system, will it hurt driving the car for a couple more days? I have to go somewhere early tommorrow morning. Let me know, Ryan

whats your coolant level like, are you losing coolant. if so your head gasket is not sealing properly. i would think if the temp is not going all the way to hot and the car is not loosing coolant you could drive short distances, but not very far. i wouldnt try it if i were you, you could warp the head or th block from the heat then you are **** out of luck
