HOW TO: EG Side Marker Install Write Up
Well i just thought and help u guys out if u ever need a write up for sidemarker install, im sure there is one already, but i was bored, my write up may not to be to your liking, and kinda ghetto but it works for me, i tried, so here it goes.
1. Make a cut out template or at least thats wat i do,
2. Then try to trim it thing and put it on some masking tap, then tape it up to your fender, dimension from the bottom of the side marker to the molding should be 2 1/8, pretty much should line with the tip on the molding
3. Then after u have your measurements where u want them, mask the template on the fender, then trace the template out so u can see it, i just used a ball point pen.
4. And then get your dremel and start cutting the outline, i use the slow setting first to just get it started then i turn the speed up and start cutting.
5. You can start cutting lil pieces out instead of just trying to cut the whole thing out, MAKE SURE YOU TAKE YOUR TIME
6. Start test fitting it and make any kinda adjustments to make it fit.
7. Finish Product, i hope it helps u guys out, to the ppl that are doing it for the first time, GOOD LUCK, and remember to take your time. Make sure u have some Goo Gone or something to remove the sticking **** from the fender.
Updated with wiring
You can run the 2 wires from the side marker to the corner lamps,
If you want them on constant and blink then wire them up to the Red (Constant) and Green (Blink) wires from the coner lamp harness.
1. Get some Male connector and crip the wire into them, then plug them into your side marker.
2.Then get some electrical tape and tape up the wires as one harness.
3.Then u can run the wires, u have 2 choices, remove the fender a lil bit, or remove the fender liner.
4.Then its time to tap into the wires, get some taps from anywhere, (radio shack, Home Depot, ETC ETC), put both wires in the them get some plyers and crimp the tap down.
5. Now if u want them on Constant, having them on with your corners and blink, then you will want to tap into the red and green wire.
6.And there you have it FINISH PRODUCT, here is a pic on how i wiring it up, blink only
My car is really dirty,
GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY, if you have any questions feel free to PM me

Re: (chuniepatuni)
you forgot to add that you should paint the raw metal so it doesnt rust....or maybe you didnt think about it, but you should do it because ur fenders would rust to **** if you live in the east like me.

looks great. want to do mine for me sometime? I'm scared to do it myself because I don't want to screw up my fenders.

Re: (tnk)
make sure to wash the car right after you do the sidemarkers. the tiny pieces of metal shrap added with overnight dew can leave rust stains on your car. nice writeup btw

I would like to add something, i believe that if you wire up the constant to the same wire as the blinkers, then your blinkers will be turned on at all times. Why? well because that one cable you connected to the constant power is connected to the other blinkers, therefore making them turn on constantly. I remember i tried doing that once, and my blinkers stayed on constantly. I hope my explanation was clear. Also, is there another way to do it then correct me if i'm wrong, cause i wanted to make them constant and blink.
Also, i'm not sure about those side markers, but if they have two inputs for power, and one for ground, then it can be done.
