Symptoms of a seized caliper?
I remember having this issue with the front driver side.. i would see lines around the caliper, and it turned out being a siezed caliper when i took it in. Same thing with the rear now, lines around the brake caliper. Could i just check by taking the pad out and seeing if the piston goes in/out properly?

Do you mean lines around the rotor ? The way to check if calipers are sticking is to jack up the rear of the car on level ground, chock the front wheels and car in gear for safety firstly, release the handbrake and turn the rear wheels by hand. They should turn reasonably freely if caliper is not seized, if they are difficult to turn then your calipers are sticking.

Easy, after a ride, just feel the temperature on each rim.
If one rim is hoter than the rest, you have a brake problem.. worn pads of sticking calipper.
