Default Turbo Manifold Build Up Prices....

What's the total cost of some of the turbo manifolds that you guys have built? I'm looking at making a "Ram Horn" w/external gatet design and figure it should run $150.00. But there may just be other hidden costs that I am unaware of.

Flange: ~$30
Turbo flange: ~$15-20
Wastegate flange: ~$15-20
Weld els: ~$5 each. You will need about a dozen for a ramhorn.
Collector: $150. Or make it yourself for about $50.

Hacksaw blades (probably 2 or 3) ~$10
1/2 pound of wire: ~$6
20 cf of gas: ~$10

Having it come out like this:

Priceless.

Here's my rundown:
-Flanges head/turbo/wg: $45 shipped
-Bends and 6' of pipe: $100 (dont remember exact $ and I still have most of the pipe left over and a few extra bends)
-2lb spool of stainless wire: $20 (didnt use but maybe a 1/3 of it)
-40cf of argon: $12

Say what you will about its looks but i dont care 4k miles no cracks and its working fantastically. I now have a little DC tig welder that makes much cleaner better welds than my Mig. I had about 2hrs experience migging when i made that manifold and It shows. I've since then made a few log manifolds and they look much better.

this manifold costed me 65 to make

just take your time. a collector is about 24 inches of pipe for a ramhorn.

easily made with a chopsaw, and 24 inches of pipe costs about 20 bucks.

a rahhorm also contains 13 els, i cut one 90 in half for the 2 45's

and 5 dollars is rape for a 90 el. i have no idea where u guys get em....

id say full material list should cost around 110 dollars tops.

I saw them on Mcmaster for ~$5.00.

Where are you finding them for cheaper?

I buy from ACE stainless. The 1.5" ones are actually like $3 but the 1.25" that I use are more expensive (go figure). Still good considering a weld tee cost $12-15, so a ramhorn is not that much more expensive than the logs I generally make. (I have yet to venture into actually trying to make a ramhorn)

Mild steel ones are also cheaper, but who wants a mild steel ramhorn manifold?

As I`m not from the USA it`s kinda dificult to find this here...... So where do you buy this stuff? I mean The bends? Stores? Web stores? Anything.... Here where i live I don`t find done bends I have to buy pipes and bend then on a machine and when I bend they become thinner.....So I weould like to buy the bends done......

there are too many factors to list on extimating the total cost - depends on how you go about things... it will be over 150 though.

And you sell em for $265? Nice profit for a manifold with the #1 runner not lined up.

why dont you actually tell someone where your getting cheap prices like that. the flanges alone (head, WG, turbo inlet) run 60 dollars before shipping from anywere ive seen them. so 65 for a total manifold?? please
