Default Hydraulic Clutch adjustment...:?

I remember a few years back, I heard some kids who worked at the dealership say a hydraulic clutch adjusts itself.

I just put the clutch pedal from a b18 integra into my d-series civic, I have an exedy stg 1 clutch, and nothing to judge it against, especially since the service manual didn't intend for a stage 1 clutch. How do I tune this pedal for my car and clutch?

i'm assuming everything fits... if it does, you tune it from the clutch master cylinder under the dash...

unscrew 12mm nut, tilt the rod that goes in the clutch master clockwise to increase freeplay and counter clockwise to decrease it (if i remember correctly)

yeah, turn the stud stick thing that is connected to the bushing that goes out to the master cylinder. turn it until you see your pedel dropping or raising to the height you want. and make sure you adjust the 2nd stud. located further back and up, its a 14mm and it holds the clutch pedal down or up for adjusting freeplay. do this correct, i know a lot of people that adjust just one and they burn their clutch or ride the heck outta it. MUST ADJUST BOTH STUD CORRECTLY

How do you know what the right position is though, for an aftermarket clutch. When I shift quick, my 2nd gear grinds a little, but is that typical for 92 civics?
