what kind of oil in a 1998 v6 accord?
Just got an a 1998 v6 accord with 180,000 miles on it. What kind of oil should I use?
And how many quarts??????

I don't recommend Mobil 1 on a car with 180,000 miles on it unless you've always been using synthetic. If you've used dino oil for all those miles, Castrol GTX or Valvoline will do. Synthetic will leak if you put it on a high mileage, dino-fed, engine.

does synthetic burn easier? My brothers corolla is burning oil he has synthetic ( Mobil 1) the preveous owner used regular oil. He says he never had a problem with it burning oil. I told my brother to switch back.

Well, Mobil1 doesnt only make Synthetic, they make regular oil too. You should also go with whatever the previous owner used. Unless its low mileage car and you flush the engine, then use Synthetic oil it'll be alright (correct me if I'm wrong) .
