because it doesn't like you.

my guess would be rubbing your shoes on the floor mats/carpet and building up static, then grounding out on the car.

This also happens to me EVERYTIME I GET OUT OF MY CAR, it kind of sucks, static electricity can blow me............

Also I hear that if you cover your seats with aluminum foil and upgrade your distributor to a hi-power one then it sucks all the electricity out of the interior and gets rid of the problem forever.

PS: also put some peanut butter on your aluminum foil seats...........

They sell thick strips of steel belted rubber in Japan that you attach to the bottom of your car to prevent static buildup.

They are very very common over there.

Who said anything about the anti-static straps being JDM? All he said was that they are popular in Japan...It's not like the auction title is "JDM AnTi StaTic StrAPs !!!"

so what if its JDM or not, you guys still hate if the **** you buy is APC or some other gay american made ****, what do you want? You guys want some Iraqui-made products or something? Your Sony TV is made in Japan, throw that away since it's JDM, ummm no... If that anti-shock strap isn't labeled ad JDM and gets its job done, you know you'd jump on it in a sec.

Actually make sure you discharge that static build up before you fuel your car. Just touch some metal.

Girls get caught on fire at gas pumps like that. They get in their cars after they start pumping the fuel and throw on a sweater or something. Then get out when the pump stops and zaaaap, instant fire.

Plus peoples first reaction is to pull the nozzle out of the gas tank which only increases the ammount of fuel to burn..lol.
