pcm problem with 98-99 accord v6
hey yall
i have this problem with my pcm computer. i used this 02 sensor stimulater that i bought and installed in placement of the 02 sensor after the cat. so i can take my check engine light out cuz i have a resonator pipe instead of cat. converter. but when i installed it and while starting my car it was making this rough sound and then imediatley the egine stopped. i attempted a couple of times to start the car and it wasnt starting. so, i hooked up this obd2 scan tool and alot of codes popped up like = ect sensor, iat sensor, 02 sensor, tp sensor, and other codes. so i disconnected the pcm from the car. it smelled a little burnt and opened it up.
a couple a circiuts of the pcm was black covered. so i went to buy a pcm from a junk yard and put that one in and it didnt start my car and no check engine light didnt even come or blink on when attemptingg to start car. i send the pcm to be tested and no problem where found and that the pcm was in workin condition. i was talking to some techs abou this problem and they said it has to be programmed by the dealership cuz my car came with an immoblizer and the key has to be programmed with the pcm. i checked everything from fuses to components to check to see if i needed to replace any parts that were damaged and everything was ok(battery, starter, alternator, ect...)
so as of now my car wont start and cant find out what is wrong with my car. if any body has a similiar problem or know what the heck is wront with my car please leave any suggestion that might help my car start. my engine will turn but not start.
thanks peeps

It sounds like someone told you what was wrong and you didn't listen.
Have you tried having the keys programmed to the new ECU. It will not start unless you do. When you swap ECUs on 98-up accords this has to be done. Only the dealer can do it unless you have access to honda's company website and the right scantool to program it.

My dealership charges an hour but I usually knock it down because I feel like an *** charging an hour for something that takes 10 minutes to do. Just depends on the dealer. Also, when you have it done take all the keys you have for the car because sometimes you have to program all at once or the others won't work.
