You can use the VSS, it's located on top of the tranny casing toward the top right (although you may have to move your intake hose out of the way if the stock one is still in there). You should see a kinda bulky looking thing with a bolt in it, loosen the bolt, lift it out, and that hole goes directly into your transmission.

I never do it that way however. I tend to just do it the traditional way, so I can see the fluid drip out of the fill hole. I use a longish clear extension hose attached to a funnel by a zip tie.

here is a pic of it from this write-up (for a Civic, but it's the same):

Wrong write-up, he wants to change his tranny oil, not replace his clutch fluid.

So you can pull the speed sensor out of any B seriers tranny?? Wow that looks much easier then trying to fill it throught the fill hole.

But as you are filling it from the top cant you over fill the tranny? Or do you need to be carefull and actually measure out 2.3qt

Make sure your car is level and take out the fill bolt. Fill through the VSS until the oil starts to flow out of the fill hole. That's it!

It is slightly easier, you can either measure out the perfect amount (~2.3) or leave the fill hole open and let it dribble out when full. Since they are on different sides of the tranny, it won't spill out until you're done, so you don't have to keep the fill bolt in while filling from the VSS. I think it's a pain though, I still use my hoses, zipties, and a funnel, I am too lazy to undo an extra bolt.

Ok thanks, I missed the part about pulling the fill bolt when you fill from the VSS
