I want a stock look for my hatch but still some power of a catback system. I was wondering if i got 2/12 inch piping with no resonator and my stock exhaust? would this sound good... i know its more personal perference but would this be a good idea?

the only stock muffler that sounds nice with bigger piping probably the stock itr muffler. I was running a gsr muffler with 60mm piping at one time and it sounded like ***......the itr muffler that i'm currently running actually sounds good.

Goddammit thats dissappointing to hear
I was thinking of doing just that with my tanabe g-power medalion. I was going to keep the 60mm piping but swap out the muffler (axleback) for something stock so my car can stop being a target for every immature idiot on the road.

Can you describe how yours sounded?

stock mufflers sound really "tinny" with a high flow midpipe. the resonate oddly under certain rpm load, if you have an intake the motor becomes louder after vtec.
