Default 1991 Acura Legend Head gasket

I found a 1991 Legend LS at a local Acura Dealership. It was traded in last week and is suppose to have a blown head gasket. I checked the oil and it was still a nice gold color not muddy looking. Car starts fine and sounds nice and quiet. The car is in excellent condition Black/Black leather. The dealer is selling the car as is for $2500. Seems like a good deal to me as I will be able to do the Head gaskets myself. My question is who has replaced a head gaskets on a 3.2 V6 legend engine? How difficult is it? Any warnings about the 3.2 V6? I know I can do it just looking for some input from someone that has done it before... car has 150 k miles on it.

Thanks

Id get a type 1 engine from ebay, not a type 2 or JDM. They are cheap from there, and generally come with everything you need. Unless you have a special attachment to that engine, dont keep it. (built bottom end or something). but since chances are it was stock, dump that engine, and buy a new one, like EG said

My buddy just did a headgasket job on a '91 Legend, ironically. He bought the car with it blown unknowingly. Car only had 107K on it, we think the radiator was leaking (a brand new radiator further proves the theory) and it overheated and blew the head gasket.

Only problem he's had post-head gasket repair was his idle sensor is a little whacked but otherwise it drives perfect.

It's not an easy job by the way.
