Yes I used the kaizen kit, you just need a press. I bought one from harbor freight as it has many uses just be carful with them they're dangerous. The kit has great instructions and is fairly simple....

With that turbo you shouldn't need Boost by gear. It will be slightly delayed which is good for a civic. I have one on my accord and it spools around 3k but is undoubtedly a highway turbo all day.

Its not the stock head that can't handle hp its the rpm that gets it. Just freshen up the top and it will be fine. Don't be a rev whore and itll last fine

I found an exact replacement. I guy nearby had another B7XA in his shop, so now I have a replacement casing. I guess I'll be shopping for an overhaul kit now...

I did add a couple degrees across my timing map today and noticed it improved the overall performance and seemed to richen up the tune I have been using a bit.

not sure, it seems it would be a lot of work to use a tranny from another vehicle. It would be easier to find a direct replacement, my thought was get away from the crappy autos that came with thsoe...

yea what the hells with supporting china? Most people dont even realize they have purchased fake stuff, even amazon has issues with it. I like to not worry about my turbo imploding after 500 miles...

what is your rev limiter set to? are you sure the fuel cutoff and engine protection aren't randomly becoming an issue? Something got wet that's for sure, or a short is creating the issue at that rpm
