Re: Wilwood Dpha vs ITR brakes

is anyone else using the Wilwood DPHA calipers & pads with an 11"+ rotor?
maybe using a fastbrake kit for mounting?

are you using a fastbrake mounting kit or how are you clearing 11" rotors"?...

Re: Street Racing

There is nothing amazing about this. This is just stupidity.

This is not at all "road racing" or any sort of demonstration of driver skill.

Re: Moroso oil pan or stock (leaking moroso)

I've grinded the tabs/dimples of an oem pan & moroso pan flat, and ran just hondabond/ultragrey without a gasket & without issues.

This came after much frustration with oem & aftermarket gaskets...

Re: Tuning Out Oversteer in a FWD Car

If your getting serious about tracking this car, just get spherical rear trailing arm bushings, you won't regret the purchase, it's worth the coin. Handling is much more predictable and the precision...

Re: Tuning Out Oversteer in a FWD Car

I still think your main problem is alignment.

My guess is you need more negative camber in the rear.

Am I the only one thinking total toe could be off? That's the one thing I don't like about...

Re: Tuning Out Oversteer in a FWD Car

First question I had was what's your alignment settings & it's very vague based on total toe of 1/8" in for the rear and "zero" front. Your rear end could be tracking left or right if your only...

Re: Tire management- Hoosiers

The longest session I've had on hoosiers is 30 minutes, so long as they were not over driven the grip & responsiveness was very consistent; when a apex is missed and more turn in happens, they do...

Re: Tire management- Hoosiers

I ran the entire 2013 season on hoosiers, coming from R888's, NT01's, RA1's, r1's, RS, RS3 & random take offs previously. Hoosier R6's turn in is GREAT, GRIP IS GREAT, predictability is phenomenal....

Re: Road Race engine builds

What exactly are you shot peening? & HOW exactly is it worth ANY HP?

I can see shot peening Rods for strength, but then I would assume your running stock rods and then I would QUESTION, WHY ONCE...

Re: 15x7 or 15x8 ITR autox/roadracing

15x8's will give you by far suprior contact patch, grip, and provide quicker response with a 205 or 225 tire.

I've ran 15x8 +35 Rota RB's for years on various honda's, with 205 & 225 R comps only...

Re: Upgrading/fixing rear trailing arm bushings (options)

Has anyone tried the Blox Spherical RTAB kits? They "appear" the same as PCI/PWJDM units and as usual they are cheaper in price.

Oil Cooler setups are well worth the investment, I have never felt the need for a oil thermostat though, oil gets pretty hot on track & pretty quickly. I know I am battling Arizona Temps, but the...

Re: Engine Question for road racers

Stock b20 sleeves are weak, but in a FORCED INDUCTION APPLICATION. They handle NA power just fine, the rod stroke ratio is the same as your b18B, same crank, just larger bore, thus piston wall stress...

Re: Engine Question for road racers

do some research. b18b (LS) has the same rod stroke ratio as a b20. b18C (gsr/itr) is different.

b18's & b16's have the same 81mm bore, thus they gain displacement from the stroke, crank, rods,...

Re: Tire wear: suspension or alignment?

holy body roll batman!

Yes, you need more pressure in those tires as others have already stated. I usually end up with nt01's around 38-39psi HOT on all 4 & adjust to be that after the first...
