Re: 00 Civic coupe - Cracked rear subframe - repair?

never weld any frame parts, don't care how much the shops say they can fix them. they will never be the same...
just get a new subframe for a couple hundo as said above, new hardware/bushings...

Re: 97 del sol si, d16y8. no start.

before all this happened since you weren't getting a click or anything did you check the starter solenoid??? replace it???

try re tapping it. or getting a little bigger bolt/tap.

Re: HELPPPP!!! 94 CIVIC PULLS HARD TO LEFR WHEN I RELEASE THROTTLE!!

re-read my post... weight transfers to the back (not steering wheels) is not as noticeable..

im 100% sure of 3 possibilities: you need an alignment, some suspension parts are falling out/dry...

Re: bent rim/suspension question.

you would feel bent parts or rim, the parts would make it pull to one side,
bent rim would make it feel like you have a squirrel or other stuck to the tire and lump a bit.

haha I would take...

Re: My engine went almost to H, did I destroy it?

i don't think you did damage, would fix your problem, flush/burp coolant system and try again.

Re: High Speed Vibration

possible flatspot or bad tire with shifted belt.. check tires first to see if a belt shifted then get balanced.

Re: HELPPPP!!! 94 CIVIC PULLS HARD TO LEFR WHEN I RELEASE THROTTLE!!

yeah reason it's not doing it as bud under acceleration is because weight transfers to the back, it's not as obvious..

I would stop driving it and take it to a shop ASAP to check front end...

Re: timing belt change, then no start

sounds like mechanical timing is off make sure marks line up AND belt can be to tight yes but it will most likely just make a whining noise if it is.

Re: gas leak 1998 civic hatch

yeah it's common to leak there. I would suggest cutting the portion of fuel hose out that's rotted cut to closest solid portion of line and install rubber hose with band clamps

Re: Broke off exhaust manifold headstud

any chance of you drilling it out? getting a close size drill bit and just drill it out? then tap a larger stud if anything?

Re: Gas smell, cant see leak.

is your gas cap on tight?

take rear seat out, take off fuel pump cover and check those connections.
