I read that article, and if I'm not mistaken, it only covered coilovers. Good to know about the LCA's and camber kits because they are expensive but if they don't serve a necessary purpose I'll stay...

Put a B&M short shifter on my EM1 along with energy suspension bushings and OMG what an incredible difference!

I just bought an EM1 for $6,000. I know I over paid honestly but I wanted it. Car has 86k miles, clean title and everything seemed to check out. It was original EBP which was repainted by the owner...

2000 EM1 Suspension

Hey all, I recently purchased a EM1 and I want to do some suspension upgrades to make it handle better and drive smoother. I owned a Civic EX 2000 a few years ago and I only did coilovers to it....

Curious as to how much boost a bone stock d16y8 can handle safely/reliably? I've heard anywhere from 7 psi to 10 psi. Mind you, stock internals.

Finally just went through with it. I got the Grid V's after hours of staring at both. Got them in 16x8 +20, full polished. They should be here this week, I hope :D

Nothing will really keep the thieves away. Maybe a killswitch, but those fools can use a tow truck, etc. If they want it, they will get it... sadly. Hire a couple hitmen to chill in the back seats...

on what motor? I'm a D16Y8, planning on low boost, stock internals. Just a slight rebuild with like upgrading gaskets and head studs. How much psi did you run? and how much HP if you remember? I want...

What are reputable brands of such?

I've called a shop around here and they quoted me $1400 for the rebuild, using J&E pistons and rings. Guy said price included rods and bearings also, + head...

It is. I've checked the dipsticks for the d16y8 and it's the same. Plus when I did oil changes, I'd add about 3.5-4 quarts and it gave me the proper readings.
