Did you figure out if it was the cam timing? 1 tooth off in the wrong direction can cause a no start condition.

Just saying 91 is an ok premium but my car likes 93 better. I wish we had 93 here is all...
Also, I agree with you about liking all motor better. I know the output is less but id rather have 230 all...

Also keep in mind if you go over 11 c/r you'll need a tune to avoid detonation (pinging) on 91 octane (garbage). Maybe you're lucky and have 93 octane by you. You won't necessarily ping @ 11, but...

You will need a tune for sure to avoid engine damage after valvetrain swap. If you don't use S2 springs the short warranty is void on the cams (fine print). Supertech springs and retainers work fine...

Those specs are for brand new cams/rocker arms/valves/seats/rocker arm pivot tubes, etc. Unless you have an all new cylinder head and entire valvetrain, the unhighlighted #'s are to be used....

Op- make sure, when adjusting lash, to put your feeler gauges between cam and rocker, not valve stem tip and rocker. Yes, that's way too tight on the intakes...

When the synchros/sleeves go bad its near impossible to shift without grindage. But the other dude is right. The notchiness comes, in my experience, from sloppy linkage/old shift bushings/old fluid...

Ignition switch in the column gives these intermittent symptoms. Most of the time fine, once in a while no power gets through it.

(Wheel bearing check) also you might hear a slight "growling" sound from the wheel w/bad bearing when driving.

.Cliffs- save up for lsd (edit: IF your car runs at least 14's otherwise lsd is pointless) then you're tire choice isn't as critical because both tires are biting

Multiple times resurfacing the head will throw your timing out of whack and it will be sluggish, too. How many head gaskets on the car have been replaced that you know of??

Have you checked to make sure your cams are tdc in relation to the crankshaft w/o engine running?

That will tell you if the wheel bearing is bad, too. Not bad to check though.

Prybar between the two pieces that the ball joint connects. Should have no play, minimal, if any.

You need a shorter O2 bung or remove the de-fouler (extension) piece. The O2 sensor should be directly in the exhaust stream, not shrouded in a side tube. If anything, have it 45'd leaning forward...
