Re: Vacuum lines question: MBC, cutout, WG?

I typically use manual boost controllers from either TurboXS or Go Fast Bits... and they have the "IN" on the side and the "OUT" on the bottom. Brands differ... so consult the manufacturer for the...

Re: B16 Turbo Intermittent Overheating! HELP

On the thermostat. If it works sometimes, the problem is likely that you have air trapped in the cooling system. It can also be a problem with the thermostat. If you don't have a genuine OE stock...

Re: Street driven 'Stage3'

What engine do you have ? Big cams in a stock internals engine will perform poorly in the low and mid range and make similar peak power as a Stage 1 or Stage 2 camshaft... it will sound "lopey" but...

Re: Need help 00 civic

When you say "Built" D16Y8, do you mean higher compression pistons and a bigger camshaft or stock like internals but freshened up ? More specifically, if the engine internal specs are exactly like a...

Re: Obx and innovative axles?

The axle seal will stop the leak, but it will not fix the vibration.

Re: Vacuum lines question: MBC, cutout, WG?

Assuming you are using the manual boost controller as a "bleeder" type, you would connect the "IN" port to the turbo compressor housing and the "OUT" port to the lower port on the wastegate. I would...

Re: What is this leaking coolant below the timing belt and alternator?

It could be this OR the O-ring leaking on the water pump end of the water pipe.

Re: Looking for correct ECM

The P28 isn't correct for a VX engine... you need a P07.

Re: 1995 civic dx engine swap

Mechanically, the D15B8 (CX - 70 HP) engine and the D15B7 (DX/LX - 102 HP) should be very similar and your engine harness should match the B7 engine. You WILL need to replace the ECU with a P06 (DX)...

Re: B17 Darton turbo blown headgasket

Adding additional torque on the final step isn't the issue... the ARP stud is a sh1t design (and unfortunately the ONLY choice that you have) and the base of the stud is "hand tightened" into the...

Re: D16Y8 with H throttle body high idle

The H22 throttle body has a FITV bolted to the bottom of it and the gasket style is totally different than the one originally found on your EX intake manifold. You MUST use an H22A4 T/B gasket, and...

Re: b20 swap in crx - wiring questions

First, it is bad form to hijack an old, dead, non-related thread. Second, the B17A is an interesting engine... why would you want to install a B20Z into it instead ?

Re: ‘99 Civic Si AC Compressor clutch does not engage

If the compressor locked up when you jumped the plug, you have one of two problems: The pressure switch is bad OR you do not have enough refrigerant in the system.
