ok so i have a 96 accord wagon lx non vtec auto trans about 152k on shell! so ill try to go bak and bring you guys up to date so about a year ago my cel came on and my d4 started blinking at the same...

yes i also think ur build will be reliable considering you are doing it the right way and using good parts and (its still a honda lol) ive just came to my own conclusions about f series vtec's...

nice!keep us posted,i love seeing people show the wagons attention there too underrated i love them i own two a 94 lx stick and a 96 lx auto,there more show then go rite now but im looking into a jdm...

ok so the usdm dizzy will fit in the jdm head? and i was just in the junkyard the other day and took off timing cover on a usdm 94 obd 1 f22 and the slots and threads were there to put crank sensor...

i was thinkning that also!so even if i went non v could i use obd1 -engine,harness,and then the step down to a obd1 computer? would that throw a check engine light? or would that cancel out whole...

or check main grounds but my guess is it got something to do with your immobilizer

those cars have immobilizers in them they tend to act up! sometimes u may even have to reset ecu and get key reprogrammed to ecu

thats wat i thought maybe tranny workin fine but is really bad but tranny has been changed neither tranny was slipping they both drove fine and shift fine the chances that i already had a bad tranny...

crank pos sensor on block you can remove or leave unplugged if you use ur harness it dosent have plug for that cause its obd 1 nd computer isnt looking for it so no code and engine will still run...

ghost is rite they did produce f22 b2 non v if thats the motor your getting plug nd play with your old dizzy nd harness

well first off your mechanic is wrong BOTH manifolds are the same the only difference would be the f22b is a vtec whereas ur wifes car is non v,the engine will mount up just fine and run without any...

i beleive if u buy the valve cover gasket from your local parts store like auto zone come with them if not throw one in your pocket at a boneyard or just grab a 10mm nut nd put it on

im having a similar problem ive had this code for about a year with the d4 light blinking car always ran and shifted fine and speedo still works so i changed all 3 speed sensors,light came back...
