yeah an oversized filter could do that.
And yeah the axle seal on the transmission can drop a good amount of oil.

And crap...that's what I forgot to replace when doing my ac...the blasted thermo switch. Yeah its there, within the same box as the expansion valve.

Ugh and now I will go price out thermo...

Probably way off on this one...but you did use OEM or better head bolts right? I'm also assuming that you did a wet torque when installing? I had a very similar problem years ago when I cheaped out...

You'll be fine to use it. 5w means 5 winter. In other words when it is cold your oil will pump like a single grade motor oil sae 5. the 30 means at 212°F the oil works as a single grade oil of SAE...

N/A Slight performance with Reliability at slightly above oem performance. No turbo chargers, nothing extreme. I might re-work the head a little with a slightly hotter camshaft. Performance has never...

First post here. I have a 1995 Civic EX coupe that I have kept in excellent condition over the years. I usually don't post on forums...but maybe its time to start.

It currently has 271,900 miles...
